During the thirties and beyond, the rate of collagen and elastin production starts to go down as hormone levels change. This is why a Skin Care Routine is very important.

Everyone's skin is not the same. Some people's skin routine may not work for someone else.

The following skin care routine is a general practice that has been noted as working for most people:

Morning:

Step 1: Cleansing.

Cleansing is the first step that should be taken every dawn and dusk. It's a good idea to find a face wash that is good for your skin, and has helpful vitamins, like:  vitamin B2, vitamin B12, vitamin E and vitamin A.

Step 2: Exfoliating.

Exfoliating your skin is a very important part of any personal grooming routine but, in order to avoid irritation and excessive dryness, it is not recommended that you exfoliate more than three times per week. If you are not exfoliating that day, just simply do step 1.

Step 3: Toning.

A common step left out of skin care is toning. It's possible to remove impurities and tighten the skin with the use of a Toner. Clarifying toners that calm your pH is one of the best options. grape seed extract and peach extract are examples.

Step 4: Moisturizing.

A key ingredient to search for in moisturizers is moisturizing ceramides. Search for plant-derived ceramides. The skin has waxy oils in it that hold in water. Improved moisturizers are referred to as serums. They deliver the active ingredients into the skin. Use a very little amount of serum on your face.

Step 5: Sun protector.

Sun protection is important for all ages and it is recommended that you apply a broad-spectrum, water-resistant sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30 every day. This can be achieved by applying a thin layer of cream first to the skin, then a more moisturizing cream that contains an SPF, and finally topping it off with the highest SPF you have available in your arsenal.

Nighttime:

Step 1: Re-do the  morning routine.

Follow the steps, except step 5.

Step 2: Night moisturizer

Night cream can be used for skin regeneration. It is a type of moisturizer that can be applied at night to help with the healing process and build up your skin's natural defenses, as well as protecting it from outside aggressors such as pollution and other environmental stressors.

Step 3: Eye cream.

The most tender part of your face is the skin around your eyes and it is one of the first places to show signs of aging. Eye creams generally come in the same type of ingredients as regular moisturizers, but they usually don't contain the same number of harmful chemicals. You should concentrate your time massaging your skin. This makes your face stronger and helps with the creation of new skin cells.

Bonus steps:

A detox mask is often a great way to clean out any impurities that may have built up in your skin and give it a refreshed, healthy appearance. Masks with green tea leaves or charcoal  are great at drawing out impurities, fighting acne, and rejuvenating skin.

Anti-aging routines usually use the Bakuchiol Serum Retinol Serum. In a recent study, Bakuchicol was found to have anti-aging effects.
